KRK V4 Series Five is the smallest monitor in the V line — four inches, aimed at a cramped desk, an edit suite and work on the move. Despite the size it gets the same room-correction set and the same app control as the larger models.
Monitoring where nothing bigger fits
A four-inch driver will not replace an eight when you judge the lowest octave, but in a small room it is often the more honest choice: it excites fewer modes and lies less when placed near a wall. For picture editing, dialogue work and sketching arrangements it is usually a sufficient and predictable reference.
A second pair for checking the mix
In a studio that already runs large monitors, the V4 works as a check pair — you use it to verify balance and vocal intelligibility the way the track will land on a small system. The combo input switches between analogue and AES3, so it sits alongside the existing chain without re-patching.
