Intech Studio Grid Series 3 PO16 Linear is a third-generation modular USB MIDI controller from the Grid line, built around 16 single-turn rotary potentiometers with metal shafts arranged in a 4x4 grid. The GRID3-PO16-L variant uses linear-taper potentiometers – minimum at one end, maximum at the other, no center rest position – making it the natural choice for one-knob-per-function control layouts.
16 Potentiometers, 16 Parameters – Directly Under Your Fingers
Single-turn 300° potentiometers with metal shafts are the right tool wherever fast, direct value changes matter without repeated rotation: EQ bands, synth filters, effect send levels, channel panning, or LFO rates. Unlike endless encoders, the PO16 always reports the current physical knob position to the software – no pickup mode or value jump on bank changes as long as you are working within a single assignment page. Four assignment pages switched via the side utility button give access to potentially 64 parameters without touching the computer.
RGB LED as a Labelling System in the Dark
Each of the 16 potentiometers has an individual RGB LED configurable in Grid Editor: colour-code parameter groups, enable pulsing for active assignments, or adjust brightness to match stage lighting conditions. Magnetic side connectors with gold-plated pins support connection to other Grid modules in any direction – up to eight units powered over a single USB-C cable. The injection-moulded housing with a robust front panel holds up to daily studio and live use.
