IK Multimedia TONEX ONE+ is a micro stompbox for guitar and bass built on the AI Tone Modeling engine introduced in TONEX ONE, now expanded with Bluetooth and full MIDI I/O. The form factor stays identical: 94 x 48 x 53 mm, 160 g. The difference over its predecessor comes down to two operational upgrades: wireless control via the TONEX Control app on iOS/Android, and a MIDI OUT port that turns the unit into an active MIDI node in the signal chain rather than a passive receiver only.

Bluetooth enables remote preset editing, library management, and ToneNET browsing directly from a smartphone or tablet — no USB, no interruption mid-set. The TONEX Control app exposes all device parameters including Dual mode, where the footswitch toggles between two presets (A/B), and Stomp mode, where it enables or bypasses a single preset. The two TRS MIDI connectors — IN and OUT — handle access to all 20 onboard presets from external controllers, sequencers, and switchers. Programmable MIDI Thru (Off/Thru/Merge) and MIDI Clock in Slave mode allow synchronization with a DAW or pedalboard system without additional converters. The onboard USB doubles as a 2-in/2-out audio interface — connect TONEX ONE+ to a computer and track directly without external hardware. Safe Mode locks parameters against accidental changes during performance; Always Saved writes every edit automatically without a manual save step.
20 presets, 60,000+ models and cabinet bypass for real-amp use
The unit holds 20 presets mapped to three playable slots (A/B/C). Any preset can be loaded from ToneNET, which at launch offers over 60,000 Tone Models captured by IK and the user community. Cabinet bypass removes cab simulation from the output path — essential when running into a real guitar cabinet and power amp. The 123 dB dynamic range keeps the signal path clean and broadband regardless of source level. Preset and Tone Model transfer runs bidirectionally between the unit, a computer via TONEX Editor (Mac/PC), and the mobile app — over USB or wirelessly via Bluetooth.
