H2 Audio 0011 Stereo

H2 Audio 0011 Stereo puts two Helios Type 69 channels into a 19 inch, 2U rackmount chassis. Each channel is complete: Lustraphone input transformer, microphone preamp and a three-band inductor equalizer with a fixed 10 kHz shelf.

A factory-matched pair for stereo tracking

Assembling a pair from two separate modules always leaves a level offset and a slight tonal drift between channels. Here both paths were built together, so overheads, piano or a room pair hold the centre of the image without correction at the fader. Gain runs from 25 to 75 dB in 5 dB steps, identically on both channels.

A finished rack unit instead of a modular system

The 0011 Stereo needs no module rack and no separate system power supply: an external transformer handles 120 V or 230/240 V operation. Connectors are gold-plated Neutrik XLR on a heavy steel chassis, and 32 V rails give more headroom than the original seventies consoles had. The high-pass filter offers 0, 40 and 80 Hz positions and maximum output reaches +25 dBm.
