Golden Age Premier GA-47 MKII is a large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone inspired by the legendary U47, delivering the depth, warmth, and musical detail of the most iconic studio microphones ever made. Hand-built with premium components and true vintage circuit topology, the GA-47 MKII offers smooth midrange presence, extended low-end response, and natural high-frequency character that fits perfectly into any mix — from vocals and acoustic instruments to orchestral and drum recordings.

The microphone features a custom-designed K47-style capsule with dual gold-sputtered diaphragms, coupled with a hand-selected NOS Telefunken EF800 tube and a custom AMI USA transformer for authentic tube saturation and harmonics. Its nine selectable polar patterns (from omni to figure-eight) make it extremely flexible for various recording setups. Compared to the previous version, the MKII offers improved noise performance, refined transformer design, and optimized internal shielding for even lower self-noise and more stable operation.

Every GA-47 MKII is individually tuned and tested to ensure consistency across units. It comes with a dedicated external power supply, a high-quality 7-pin cable, shockmount, and a handmade wooden microphone box. The GA-47 MKII combines the timeless sonic elegance of the original vintage microphones with the precision and reliability of modern craftsmanship.
