Instead, it utilizes dual 8-inch high-excursion SEAS woofers housed within a heavily damped, completely sealed Valchromat enclosure. Driven by discrete Hypex Ncore amplifiers, this acoustic suspension design eradicates port ringing, turbulence, and group delay, delivering tightly controlled, linear bass extension down to 32 Hz without sympathetic cabinet resonances.
Holographic Imaging via DSP Linearization
Traditional multi-way monitors frequently introduce severe phase shifts at crossover points, smearing transients and collapsing the stereo image. The Quasar MkII tackles this limitation with a custom coaxial mid/tweeter driver utilizing aerospace-grade Metamodal TX carbon diaphragms.
