D.W. Fearn VT-2 is a Dual Channel Vacuum Tube Microphone Preamplifier with 2 x XLR Inputs, 2 x XLR Outputs, GND lift, rack mountable.<2p>
The VT-2 is designed to amplify signals while providing ultra-high clarity. The preamplifier VT-2 is handcrafted with a thick aluminum chassis using point-to-point wiring. The active circuit consists of 4 Class A triode amplifier sections (with two tubes) in each channel.
The VT-2 preamplifier also features a built-in switchable 43 dB pad, allowing it to be connected to the master bus at line level during mixing and mastering to provide the final product with the unique sound signature of D.W. Fearn.
