BeesNeez BN251

BeesNeez BN251 is a mechanical twin of the Telefunken ELA M251: a Beesneez CK12 capsule, a 12AT7 tube and a glass amorphous-core transformer, recreating the original part-for-part, right down to the body, connector and power supply.

The same CK12, straight from the 1950s original

The ELA M251 differs from the C12 mainly in where the pattern switch sits (on the microphone itself, not the power supply) and the head-basket design. The BN251 keeps that architecture and adds a third pattern (figure-8) to the classic cardioid/omni layout, making vocal-duet or Mid-Side recording possible without extra gear.
