Austrian Audio OC818 Studio Set Black

Austrian Audio OC818 Studio Set Black is a large-diaphragm multi-pattern condenser microphone in black with a hand-made ceramic CKR12 capsule, supplied with the accessories needed for everyday studio work.

Choose the polar pattern after recording

A second output on a mini XLR carries the rear diaphragm separately. Record both diaphragms on two tracks and set the pattern in the mix with the PolarDesigner plugin, moving freely between cardioid, omni, figure-8 and hypercardioid, so room sound or spill no longer means a retake.

Control at the source

Switchable -10 and -20 dB pads raise the maximum SPL to 158 dB for guitar amps and percussion, and a high-pass filter at 40, 80 or 160 Hz cuts stand rumble and air movement before the preamp. The Studio Set includes a shock mount and the mini XLR cable for dual-output recording.
