ARTURIA MiniFreak 49 is a six-voice hybrid synthesizer with two digital engines, an analog filter on every voice and 49 full-size semi-weighted keys with aftertouch. Compared with the 37-key MiniFreak it adds an XYZ touch matrix, Voice Panning and eight times the memory for samples and wavetables.
Timbre in motion, without diving into menus
A hybrid synth can sound like anything, but when every change needs a menu the idea slips away. The MiniFreak 49 has direct controls for both engines (Type, Wave, Timbre, Shape), and the XYZ touch matrix brings playing expression, modulation and preset browsing onto one surface: slide across X and Y, press into Z and assign modulation in a single gesture. Hold keeps your chosen state after you lift your hand.
Two engines, an analog filter and keys for two hands
The two digital engines offer more than 30 modes from virtual analog to granular, with algorithms by Arturia, Mutable Instruments and Noise Engineering. Every voice runs through an analog filter (low-pass, band-pass or high-pass) with resonance up to self-oscillation, and audio-rate Filter FM from either engine adds grit and vocal-like colours. Voice Panning spreads the six voices across the stereo field from one 270 degree control. 49 keys with velocity and mono aftertouch leave room for chords and two-handed playing.
