ALM Busy Circuits Pamela's PRO Workout — a programmable clocking and modulation Eurorack module with 8 independent CV outputs synced to a central BPM master clock, 8HP.
The base tempo runs from 10 to 330 BPM, and each of the 8 outputs independently multiplies or divides that clock across a range from /16384 to x192, including non-integer factors. Every output is a low-impedance 0-5V buffered signal at 12-bit resolution with a maximum update rate of 3.8kHz. The module occupies 8HP at 32mm deep, fitting even low-profile skiff cases, and draws just 60mA from the +12V rail and 10mA from -12V.
Eight different rhythms from one module instead of eight separate ones
Building out a full rhythmic patch usually calls for a separate clock, a Euclidean sequencer, and an LFO generator, which eats up rack space fast. Pamela's PRO Workout folds all of that into a single module: each output can be assigned to a simple clocked trigger, a complex rhythmic waveform, a quantized melodic pattern, or a random voltage, with full control over shape, width, offset, and phase. The built-in Euclidean algorithm lets you define step count, trigger count within that range, and rotation of active steps without an extra sequencer in the system, while the Loop function forces a reset after a set number of beats, making it easy to build pseudo-sequences out of random voltages.
Fine-tuning groove without an external processor
A rigidly quantized rhythm often sounds mechanical, and fixing that usually means a separate shuffle or humanize module. Pamela's Flex function introduces off-grid micro-timing — swing, bouncing-ball effects, or natural timing variance — directly at the output level, with no extra patching. Up to 4 onboard CV inputs (expandable to 8 with the Axon-1 module) let you modulate any parameter with an external voltage, each with its own offset and attenuation, and a built-in quantizer maps a channel's output to a chosen musical scale when melodic context is needed instead of pure rhythm. Settings save instantly across 7 banks (56 slots) and persist through power cycles, with firmware updates handled via drag-and-drop over USB-C.
