AKAI Pro MPC Sample

AKAI Pro MPC Sample is a standalone sampler that brings the classic MPC workflow into a compact, battery-powered form. It records, chops, sequences and plays back samples entirely without a computer, DAW or power outlet – wherever the idea strikes.

Sixteen RGB pads with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch deliver the same tactile entry point as the legendary MPC machines – dynamic response to strike force and real-time expressive control by pressure. The 2.4" colour LCD gives a clear view of waveforms, effect parameters and sequence structure on a screen that fits in a bag. The 44.1 kHz / 32-bit float engine with 32-voice stereo polyphony and disk-streaming handles large sample libraries without eating into RAM headroom.

From sound to groove in seconds

The built-in microphone captures ambient sounds and routes them directly into the sample chopper – cut and assign fragments to pads without a single cable. The Legacy Fader and three effect knobs give physical, real-time control over sound shaping. Four effect engines with 60 creative processors, over 100 drum kits and full resampling close the production loop: from first recording to finished groove without ever leaving the device.

Connectivity where you need it

Two 1/4" TRS inputs and two 1/4" TRS outputs handle external instruments and PA. MIDI In/Out via 1/8" TRS and a Sync Out CV 1/8" let you lock the MPC Sample to modulars, drum machines and the rest of your setup. USB-C covers power, audio, MIDI and data transfer in one cable. A microSD slot expands the 8 GB internal storage; the Li-Ion battery delivers up to 5 hours of untethered production.
