Apollo X Gen 2 Interfaces (Thunderbolt)
Offer valid through May 31
The promotion includes 14 models from the Apollo X second-generation family – from the compact Twin X to the 16-channel x16. Each model is available in the ESS (Essentials+) or STU (Studio+) bundle, and the x16 also comes in ULT (Ultimate+). The difference between bundles lies exclusively in the included plugin package – the hardware is identical across all variants.
The ESS bundle includes over 20 UAD plugins – a solid starting point with LA-2A compressor emulations, Pultec EQ models, and a selection of Unison preamp presets. STU expands the library to over 50 plugins, adding Capitol Chambers, EL8 Distressor, and other tools for more advanced sessions. The choice of bundle depends on whether you need a fully-loaded set right away or already have your own plugin collection.
Apollo X Gen 2 are Thunderbolt 3 interfaces with onboard DSP chips that allow you to run UAD plugins during recording without taxing your computer’s CPU. Key additions in the second generation include: updated converters, the AutoGain function for automatic level setting across all channels, Sonarworks SoundID integration directly through the interface DSP, subwoofer Bass Management, and Antares Auto-Tune included in the box. Preamps support Unison technology – the interface physically matches impedance to the selected preamp emulation.
- Apollo Twin X Duo Gen 2 ESS / STU – 2 preamps, DSP Duo Core
- Apollo Twin X Quad Gen 2 ESS / STU – 2 preamps, DSP Quad Core
- Apollo x4 Gen 2 ESS / STU – 4 preamps, DSP Quad Core
- Apollo x6 Gen 2 ESS / STU – 4 preamps, DSP Hexa Core
- Apollo x8 Gen 2 ESS / STU – 8 preamps, DSP Octo Core
- Apollo x8p Gen 2 ESS / STU – 8 preamps + ADAT, DSP Octo Core
- Apollo x16 Gen 2 ESS / ULT – 16 analog inputs, DSP Octo Core
UAFX Pedals
Offer valid through May 31
The UAFX line is built on a dual-processor DSP architecture – the same foundation that powers UAD studio plugins. The analog dry signal passes through the pedal without being digitized, preserving the character of your tone. Supported operating modes include stereo and dual mono, with true bypass and silent switching, plus Preset and Live modes. Pedals receive additional algorithms and presets through firmware updates.
The promotion covers 16 models including amp emulations, studio dynamics processors in pedal format, and spatial and time-based effects:
- UAFX Lion 68 Super Lead Amp Marshall amp emulation
- UAFX Dream '65 Reverb Amplifier Fender Deluxe Reverb '65 emulation
- UAFX Ruby '63 Top Boost Amplifier Vox AC30 Top Boost emulation
- UAFX Woodrow '55 Instrument Amplifier Fender Tweed Deluxe emulation
- UAFX ANTI 1992 High Gain Amplifier Peavey 5150 EVH emulation
- UAFX Enigmatic '82 Overdrive Special Amplifier Dumble amp emulation
- UAFX Knuckles '92 Rev F Dual Rec Amplifier Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier emulation
Microphones with Hemisphere Modeling
Offer valid through May 31
Hemisphere Modeling is UA’s microphone modeling technology that runs as a plugin in your DAW. You record through a physical XLR microphone, and the Hemisphere plugin inserted on the track lets you switch between classic microphone emulations – both before and after recording. Controls include virtual Proximity and Axis adjustments, plus filters – meaning you can fine-tune the microphone’s “position” even after the take is done.
Available emulations are tied to the type of physical microphone: the SC-1 Condenser unlocks 8 large-diaphragm condenser emulations (Neumann U87, U67, U47, TLM 103, Sony C-800G, Telefunken ELA M 251, AKG C12, and C414). Dynamic microphones in the SD series give access to classic dynamic mic emulations. Hemisphere works with UA hardware and natively in any DAW (AAX, AU, VST).
- UA SC-1 Condenser Large-diaphragm condenser – 8 LDC emulations
- UA SD-1 Dynamic Dynamic – classic dynamic mic emulations
- UA SD-3 Dynamic Dynamic – stage and studio use
- UA SD-5 Dynamic Dynamic – high SPL handling, drums
- UA SD-7 Dynamic Supercardioid dynamic – stage and studio
Volt Interfaces (USB)
Offer valid through May 31
The Volt series consists of USB audio interfaces from Universal Audio without onboard DSP – they do not support real-time UAD plugins, but they carry UA analog circuitry and 24-bit / 192 kHz conversion. The defining feature of the line is the Vintage Preamp Mode switch, which activates analog saturation in the style of the classic 610 console series. Every model ships with LUNA Recording System and a plugin bundle.
The lineup covers all typical use cases: from a minimalist single-input setup to models with a hardware compressor based on the 1176 circuit, through to eight-channel versions for larger sessions.
- UA Volt 1 1 mic input, USB-C
- UA Volt 2 2 mic inputs, USB-C
- UA Volt 176 1 input + hardware 1176 compressor, USB-C
- UA Volt 276 2 inputs + hardware 1176 compressor, USB-C
- UA Volt 476 4 mic inputs, USB-C
- UA Volt 476P 4 inputs + line preamps, USB-C
- UA Volt 876 8 mic inputs, USB-C
