RODE NTR — a premium active ribbon microphone that redefines the classic ribbon design with modern precision, extremely low noise, and high output. The NTR features a 1.8-micron aluminum ribbon element, cut precisely by laser to ensure consistency and sensitivity far exceeding traditional ribbon microphones. Its internal active electronics and custom-designed transformer provide a strong, balanced output and compatibility with any standard 48V phantom-powered preamp — no need for special high-gain units.

The microphone’s robust frame is CNC-machined from solid aluminum, with a shock-mounted ribbon suspension system that isolates the delicate element from vibrations and mechanical noise. The open grille design minimizes acoustic coloration, maintaining transparency across the full frequency range.
