Perkons HD-01 BLACK is a unique hybrid instrument that blurs the line between drum machine, synthesizer, and drone generator—designed for live performance and deep sound design. At its core are four powerful hybrid voices, each combining a digital sound engine with a multimode analog filter featuring overdrive. A dedicated 4-track sequencer enables precise control over complex rhythmic and textural compositions in real time.
Each voice offers three distinct sound engine modes, a versatile high/mid/low-pass filter, and eight dedicated knobs for hands-on sound shaping—including an internal BBD effect send. All voice parameters can be saved as Kits, with 64 Kit and 64 Pattern memories onboard, expandable via SD card. Real-time expressivity is enhanced by full parameter automation and a morphing LFO that can be assigned to up to 8 parameters per voice.
Built for integration, HD-01 provides individual 6.3mm trigger inputs, individual audio outputs, and dedicated send/return effect loops for each voice—plus a global master send/return. All voices are summed through a built-in analog-style compressor for cohesive, punchy dynamics. Advanced sequencing features include per-track swing, groove settings, ratchets, step probability, independent tempo divisions, and multipliers—making it a truly expressive and flexible performance instrument.
