MASCHINE MK3 represents the next generation of Native Instruments' cult production system, designed for maximum workflow speed and creative focus. Larger pads offer more room for complex techniques like flams and rolls, while new technology makes them more sensitive to lighter touches for expressive playing. Two full-color displays and a four-directional push encoder enable browsing sounds, effects, plugins, and instruments with a completely visual workflow – simply find the thumbnail and load directly from the hardware. High-resolution screens allow precise mixing, arrangement overview, and surgical sample slicing based on waveforms.
The built-in studio-grade audio interface delivers pristine sound and enables quick recording and sampling – just patch in a synth or dynamic mic. Stereo line and MIDI ports make MASCHINE the perfect centerpiece for any studio. USB power allows recording anywhere with a laptop. The new front panel layout eliminates clutter and helps focus on quickly materializing ideas – most-used features are now directly accessible with one touch, no longer hidden behind a shift button. The Smart Strip opens up new ways of playing: use it like a keyboard wheel for pitch-bend and modulation, add new sonic textures with advanced performance FX like stutter and scratch, or strum samples, synths, and drums like a guitar.
MASCHINE 3 software brings advanced production capabilities with Stem Separation powered by iZotope RX, allowing you to split any track into bass, drums, vocals, and other elements with one click. Ideas View makes sketching and arranging tracks intuitive, while the new Arrangement View provides fluid editing with DAW-level tools. Features like Auto Sampler, Chord Inversion, VST3 support, Poly Synth based on Pro-53, extended arpeggiator modes, and the ability to save sounds with samples significantly expand creative possibilities. MASCHINE integrates seamlessly with KOMPLETE, NKS instruments, all major DAWs as a VST/VST3/AU/AAX plugin, and offers full MIDI CC control over external hardware.
