Universal Audio 4-710d is a four-channel tone-blending microphone preamplifier with 1176-style compression on every channel and eight channels of 24-bit/192 kHz A/D conversion.
Tube, solid state or anything in between
Each Twin-Finity channel runs a 285 V Class-A tube path and a solid-state transimpedance path side by side, and a blend control moves continuously from 100% tube to 100% solid state, so drums, bass and vocals each get the colour they need.
Tracking chain in one box
True-bypass 1176-style compression with fast and slow settings sits on each channel, and the built-in converters send everything to your interface over dual ADAT or AES/EBU DB-25, which turns four channels into a ready tracking front end.
