A dedicated converter adds channels or bridges formats your interface can't handle on its own — ADAT to Dante, extra AD/DA, or just a clean way to connect more gear over a network. This collection covers standalone converters and format bridges for the studio and stage.
A straight AD/DA converter turns analog signal into digital and back, adding clean channels beyond what your interface offers — Ferrofish A32 Pro is built for exactly that. A format bridge moves audio between protocols — Ferrofish Pulse16 CV turns ADAT channels into CV for modular gear. And a networking hub like Elektron OH-7 Overhub centralizes USB and MIDI connections for a whole desk of gear.
Need more analog I/O over ADAT or Dante without replacing your interface? Ferrofish A32 Pro is where we'd start. Running Eurorack alongside a digital rig? Ferrofish Pulse16 CV bridges the two worlds cleanly.
In this category we work with Ferrofish, Elektron and Bricasti Design.
The biggest difference between us and a mail-order shop: you can hear the gear before you buy it. Our showroom at Nowogrodzka 6A/102 in Warsaw is there so you can try it on your own material, not a shop demo. Book a visit or just swing by — we'll help without the sales pitch. Call: +48 573 580 840.
For most projects, you don't need to. A dedicated converter earns its place when you need more channels than your interface offers, or have to bridge two formats — like ADAT and Dante — that don't talk to each other directly.
Within reason, yes, mostly in noise floor and how it behaves near clipping — but the gap between a good interface's built-in converters and a dedicated unit is smaller than marketing suggests. Channel count and format-bridging are usually the real reason to buy one.
A converter changes analog to digital or back. A format bridge moves already-digital audio between protocols — ADAT to Dante, for example — without touching the analog domain at all.
