Turntables and Vinyl Gear – DJ and Hi-Fi
Turntables and Vinyl Gear – DJ and Hi-Fi
Vinyl is a different physical medium with its own gear to match — this collection covers turntables for DJ booths and home listening, plus cartridges and styli to keep them sounding right.
Direct-drive or belt-drive
A direct-drive turntable like Reloop RP-8000 MK2 spins the platter straight off the motor — fast start-up torque and scratch-ready, which is why DJ decks are almost always direct-drive. A belt-drive design isolates the platter from motor vibration for quieter, more consistent playback — Audio-Technica AT-LP70XBTBS is built for that kind of casual, high-quality home listening instead.
Where to start
Building a DJ setup? Reloop RP-7000 MK2 is a proven, club-standard direct-drive deck. Just want to play records at home? Audio-Technica AT-LP70XBTBS adds Bluetooth without giving up real vinyl playback. Cartridge worn down or skipping? Ortofon Stylus Pro is a drop-in replacement stylus worth checking before you blame the turntable.
The brands we carry
We carry Reloop, Ortofon and Audio-Technica.
Hear it in our Warsaw showroom
The biggest difference between us and a mail-order shop: you can hear the gear before you buy it. Our showroom at Nowogrodzka 6A/102 in Warsaw is there so you can try it on your own material, not a shop demo. Book a visit or just swing by — we'll help without the sales pitch. Call: +48 573 580 840.
FAQ
Direct-drive or belt-drive for scratching and mixing?
Direct-drive, without exception — it's the only type with the torque and instant start-up that scratching and beatmatching require.
How do I know if I just need a new stylus?
If the sound is thin, distorted, or skips on records that used to play fine, check the stylus before anything else — it's the cheapest fix and the most common cause of degraded vinyl sound.
Does turntable quality really matter for casual listening?
Less than for DJ use, but a poor turntable adds audible wow, flutter and rumble even to casual listening. A decent belt-drive deck closes most of that gap affordably.
