Sennheiser E 902

Sennheiser e 902 is a cardioid dynamic instrument microphone for kick drum, bass cabinets and tuba, tuned to capture low-frequency instruments with punch and definition.

Kick drum without the mud

Inside a bass drum the resonances around 200 and 700 Hz turn a kick into a boomy blur. The e 902 has specially tuned dips at those frequencies, so the drum comes out dry and focused before you touch an EQ.

Fast attack for low instruments

A quick transient response keeps the beater click and the pick attack on bass amps articulate, and the microphone handles high SPL without distortion inside the drum or in front of a loud cabinet.
