Neumann N 149 A

Neumann N 149 A is the power supply for the Neumann M 147, M 149 and M 150 tube microphones. It generates the capsule bias, a sensor-controlled filament voltage and the plate voltage.

Stable operation and a gentle tube start

Tube microphones depend on clean, stable supply voltages for low noise and long tube life. The N 149 A works with a constant current that gives the tube a soft start, and it drives microphone cables up to 100 m and a modulation line up to about 300 m.
