Neumann EA 87 mt

Neumann EA 87 mt is an elastic suspension (shock mount) for the Neumann U 87 Ai mt. It isolates the microphone from vibrations travelling up the stand and through the floor.

Clean low end without rumble

Footsteps, a kick drum through the floor or a knock on the stand reach a large-diaphragm condenser as low-frequency rumble that no high-pass filter removes cleanly. The elastic suspension decouples the microphone body so that energy never reaches the capsule, while the swivel lets you set the exact angle.
