ADAM Sub8 Pro 8 inch Active Studio Subwoofer

ADAM Sub8 Pro is a compact active studio subwoofer with an 8 inch woofer, a 200 W RMS amplifier and the same network electronics as the larger Sub10 Pro. It reaches 26 Hz (-6 dB) and its 385 mm tall cabinet fits the kind of home studio where the bigger sub simply will not.

Low end that suits a small room

In a small room a subwoofer can do more harm than good: it booms, masks the mids and changes with every move of your chair. The Sub8 Pro gives you the tools to deal with that, with phase in eight steps, crossover at 70, 85, 100 or 115 Hz, 0-10 ms of delay and level from -18 to +6 dB. ADAM Control (Windows and macOS) over Ethernet adds a four-band parametric EQ and Sonarworks SoundID Reference profiles, so you set the room correction once and store it.

Digital input and three operating modes

Alongside two analog XLR/TRS inputs you get an AES3 input (up to 24-bit/96 kHz) plus XLR and AES3 outputs, so the sub can sit in a digital chain without extra conversion. Stereo mode manages bass for a pair of monitors, LFE covers the low-frequency effects channel in multichannel setups (below 120 Hz), and Wide adds low end to monitors running full range. A TRS jack takes a footswitch for a quick bass management bypass (footswitch not included).
