Potsdamexpander
moduleis abinary data routing solution for
theLeibniz subsystem of XAOC devices. It facilitates the manual and remote switchingbetween two Le ibnizdata sources (e.g. Dresden and Jena), the changing of individual bits of the data stream and the re-clocking of the data using the integratedClock voltage-controlled generator or an external clock signal. Potsdam is particularly useful in complex Leibniz configurations where thedata flow between multiple modules needs to bereconfigured. Other tricks such assplicingwaveforms, breaking loops or creatingdigital chaos also belong to the repertoire of this extension. In its role as an expander module, it is featureless on its own. To be fully effective, this module shouldbe used together with Dresden and Jena or Dresden and Erfurt.
