The MBC features both a Class-A transformerless input for transparent capture and a custom transformer-coupled path with Rupert’s acclaimed Silk circuit for harmonic saturation. Add subtle warmth or full-bodied vintage tone using Silk Red or Blue modes. The onboard analog limiter offers musical peak control with a sweepable high-pass filter and dual mono operation for tracking.

Digital outputs include AES3, S/PDIF, and TOSLINK – all simultaneously available. The converter’s precision internal clock ensures exceptional jitter performance, and the MBC can act as your studio’s master word clock or sync to external clock. With adjustable reference levels, ultra-precise LED metering, and stunning build quality, the MBC is your final step before digital with zero compromises.
