Although the NT1 looks very similar to the NT1-A, it is a microphone created completely from scratch, with the only common element between the two models being the mesh cover. RØDE engineers combined innovation and tradition when designing the NT1, creating a classic microphone with a completely new type of capsule. Hidden under the name HF6, the capsule is a prime example of RØDE's fusion of artistic approach and the latest production techniques. The sound character is reminiscent of the famous microphones of the past, while at the same time presenting an extremely low noise level. The aim of the developers of this microphone was a detailed mid-band response, a silky treble sound and a warm and round bass that make the NT1 an absolutely unique microphone in its class.
