PSI AUDIO A25-M Pure White is an active studio 3-way monitor with an 11-inch low-frequency driver, a 4-inch mid-frequency driver, a 1-inch tweeter, a G/H class power amplifier, adaptive output impedance technology, and compensated phase response technology.
The A25-M is an updated version of the flagship active 3-way monitor from the Swiss company PSI Audio, specializing in studio monitor design. Setting it apart from the previous model, the new version features a redesigned mid-range driver (EXD) and a modified phase-inverting port.
The section with the high-frequency and mid-frequency drivers can be rotated, allowing the monitor to be positioned in both horizontal and vertical orientations. Like other models from the manufacturer, the monitor incorporates adaptive output impedance technology (AOI), which controls membrane movement relative to the input signal, as well as compensated phase response technology (CPR), ensuring a time-aligned and coherent audio signal.
The A25-M features hybrid G/H class amplifiers that combine the advantages of Class A/B but offer higher efficiency with lower distortion levels. Additionally, the company notes that the speaker does not use DSP processors, and the entire audio path is fully analog.
