The Ortofon Slipmat VNL is a 12-inch professional-grade slipmat designed for scratching and turntablism. This durable slipmat features a unique matte surface and is engineered to protect vinyl.
The Slipmat VNL by Ortofon is crafted from a smooth yet robust material, ensuring both longevity and effective performance for DJs. The unique matte surface significantly reduces friction, which facilitates precise control during intricate scratching routines. Its extra-thin profile delivers optimal tactile feedback, promoting enhanced responsiveness. The slipmat provides heightened resistance to dust and other particles, therefore safeguarding vinyl records from damage. Each set contains two slipmats packaged within a protective sleeve. A unique 3D design, developed in collaboration with DJ ND and Maxime Bouchat of Blue Marine Productions Associées, incorporates elements linked to DJ culture: scissors representing "cutting sounds", equalizer levels to depict mixer levels, and a spiral that symbolizes a spinning turntable platter. An animation effect is visible when the pitch is set to 33 +8.
