a semi-modular synth, the signal path under the hood is 'pre-wired', so you can make electronic music with the Moog Mother-32 synth even without patch cables. As soon as you want to go a little deeper, 32 connectors come into play. The Mother-32's numerous modulation possibilities can be combined with other synth modules thanks to its numerous patch points. The result is countless possibilities for mutual modulation and control, which open up entirely new ways of playing synths. It is an open application concept that allows the Moog Mother-32 to be used independently or integrated into a modular synthesiser configuration.

the mixer, the signal passes through an analogue filter. This is the classic Moog Ladder filter (24 dB, 4-pole), selectable as low-pass and high-pass. The resonant low-pass filter gives the instrument the popular, warm MOOG sound that shaped the synth music of the 1960s and 1970s with great assertiveness.This is the true analogue sound - no synth software can keep up!

The legendary sounds of Kraftwerk, Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream are often based on minimalist motifs - rhythmic sound sequences of 8, 16 or more steps. If you play with the Mother-32 synthesiser, you can use an expressive step sequencer with up to 32 steps. It allows you to compose uncomplicated sequences in the blink of an eye: ostinate sequencer motifs, bass lines or pulsating sound waves. Chromatic semitone buttons allow the creation of specific sequence lines. Up to 64 patterns can be stored directly on the device and recalled at any time. At Sudio, and especially for live jams, the Step Sequencer is the perfect creative tool to quickly and intuitively create musical motifs and grooves.

The

black laser-designed housing is traditionally finished by MOOG with wooden side panels. With the optional 'layering kit', several mother systems can be combined into a fixed system, offering even more functions and even greater expressivity.
