Moog Grandmother

Moog Grandmother is a monophonic semi-modular analog synthesizer that blends classic Moog architecture with modern flexibility and rich patchability. Featuring two oscillators, analog filters and envelopes, spring reverb, arpeggiator/sequencer, and a 32-key velocity-sensitive keyboard, it offers expressive control and modular routing in a compact design.

Grandmother’s fully analog signal path and classic subtractive synthesis layout make it intuitive for newcomers yet powerful for advanced users. It provides hands-on access to every core function with one-knob-per-function control, while its semi-modular nature allows users to patch freely between modules or integrate with Eurorack systems. The internal spring reverb adds atmospheric depth to sounds, and the built-in sequencer/arpeggiator supports creative pattern creation directly from the front panel.

Each oscillator offers octave and waveform selection, sync capabilities, and modulation inputs for PWM, pitch, and FM. The mixer includes white noise and external input routing, while the filter section features Moog’s signature resonant ladder filter with keyboard tracking options. The modulation section includes an LFO with four waveforms, pulse width modulation, and amount controls for pitch and filter modulation.

With a total of 41 patch points, Grandmother is ideal for integrating into modular setups or exploring unconventional routing. Rear panel connectivity includes MIDI In/Out/Thru, USB, audio I/O, and clock sync for seamless studio or live setups. It comes bundled with patch cables, power supply, and user manual.
