With the 8341AP, Genelec offers an extremely compact three-way monitor that is ideal for post-production and broadcast applications thanks to its compact dimensions. The coaxial system provides an ideal point source with a completely linear, bias-free frequency response for reliable mix evaluation and fatigue-free listening. Three powerful power amplifiers power the monitor with a total output of 550 W. A large sound conductor provides a wide listening zone and excellent stereo reproduction. Two oval woofers provide optimum directivity to the lower frequency ranges. The loudspeaker can be operated horizontally or vertically without any problems due to the coaxial positioning. The die-cast aluminium enclosure is robust and has an extremely low resonance. The rounded edges of the housing prevent sound discolouration. A protective circuit prevents damage if the playback level is too high.

room noise can be significantly reduced by DSP filters (DIP switches on the rear panel) or targeted calibration with the GLM2 measuring microphone / software. The included IsoPod foot decouples the loudspeaker from the ground. In addition, the loudspeaker can be tilted and fine-tuned to the listening position.
