Focal Twin6 ST6 is a professional active studio monitor featuring dual 6.5" W-cone woofers, a 1.5" beryllium inverted dome tweeter, variable high-frequency shelving EQ, and an automatic standby mode. It delivers powerful, detailed sound reproduction with exceptional accuracy across the frequency range, making it ideal for critical mixing and mastering tasks.
The Twin6 ST6 belongs to Focal’s high-end ST6 series and includes proprietary technologies designed for the most demanding studio applications. The beryllium tweeter, protected by an "M"-shaped acoustic grill, offers extended high-frequency response and pinpoint stereo imaging. The dual 6.5” woofers with W-shaped composite cones deliver tight, controlled lows and a neutral midrange. Thanks to Focus Mode, the Twin6 can switch to a full-range single-driver operation for checking mixes on limited-range systems, mimicking smaller speaker setups for referencing.
The built-in Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) suspension system significantly reduces resonance and distortion between 1–3 kHz, an area critical for vocals and midrange instruments. Additional features include a front-facing large laminar bass reflex port for improved low-end clarity and a switchable 160 Hz high-pass filter to counteract console reflections when placed on desks. The rugged MDF cabinet construction ensures minimized vibration and coloration, while the magnetic shielding and versatile mounting options make it a practical choice for any studio.
