The basic idea behind Elysia's Museq is to combine high-quality sound shaping with optimal parameter tuning to achieve the desired result quickly and accurately. The available tapes and their abundant control paths, as well as several special features typical of Elysia, ensure that the museq can be used flexibly for all applications such as recording, mixing and, thanks to its rastered control, also for mastering.

Each of the two channels provides three parametric bands with switchable filter quality. The additional outer bands are designed as low-shelf or high-shelf filters, which can be separately switched to low/high cut mode with an additional resonance peak as a special finesse. For each of the two times five bands, the gain control can be switched individually between boost and cut. This results in a particularly well resolved control path, and the number of possible settings is doubled. A switchable option per channel for a stronger tone completes the overall musical concept. Like its siblings, the museq is also completely built using discrete analogue technology in Class A operation. Not a single chip is used in the entire signal path. The Elysia uses only the highest quality and most musically beneficial components.

The encapsulated and encapsulated plastic conductive potentiometers are manufactured specifically for Elysia and individually fitted to each device before use. In addition, museq consistently dispenses with the use of internal audio cables. The result: perfect handling and excellent sound.
