Antelope Orion Studio Synergy Core

Orion Studio Synergy Core is a rackmount Thunderbolt 3 and USB audio interface featuring 12 discrete microphone preamps, premium AD/DA conversion with up to 130 dB dynamic range, and onboard FPGA/DSP processing for real-time effects. It is designed to serve as the central hub of a professional recording, mixing, and monitoring environment.

Dual Host Streaming enables simultaneous operation over Thunderbolt 3 and USB with two computers, while integrated room analysis and correction, flexible digital routing, and extensive analog and digital I/O streamline complex studio workflows.

Special dealer bundle: an Antelope Audio Edge 360 modeling microphone is included free of charge with the Orion Studio Synergy Core.

Dual Host Streaming – reliable recording on two computers

The interface can stream audio over Thunderbolt 3 and USB to two separate computers simultaneously. If one connection is interrupted or one recording system fails, the second computer can continue capturing the session. Dual Host Streaming also supports collaborative and multi-computer workflows, such as recording on one system while mixing, streaming, or running additional production software on another.

Integrated room analysis and correction

Antelope Room Correction measures your monitors and room acoustics, generates corrective EQ curves tailored to the listening environment, and applies them directly within the Orion Studio Synergy Core Control Panel. Processing runs on the interface with sub-millisecond latency and no additional load on the computer's CPU. A compatible calibrated measurement microphone is required to perform the room measurement.

Synergy Core effects without loading the computer's CPU

Two FPGA and six DSP processors handle up to 144 mono effect instances per session with near-zero latency. Musicians can monitor through modeled compressors, equalizers, preamps, guitar amplifiers, and other studio effects while recording, without relying on CPU-intensive native plugins. The interface includes 51 Synergy Core effects modeled after classic analog studio equipment.
