Faderfox UC4

Faderfox UC4 is a MIDI controller designed for controlling both hardware and software.

UC4 has 8 smooth encoders, 9 faders and 8 buttons, all of which can be assigned to 8 separate controller groups, providing the ability to control up to 264 parameters. The device features a 4-digit display and 8 LEDs for a clear real-time display of all control elements.

The controller supports a wide range of MIDI commands, including program change, pitch bend, aftertouch and control change in both relative and absolute modes with adjustable acceleration. All this provides the ability to configure the controller for any task based on the user's preference.

Each element of the UC4 can be individually programmed directly on the device without using a PC. Encoders work as 14-bit high-resolution controllers for control change or pitch bend, making them ideal for controlling sensitive parameters such as filter cut-offs.

The UC4 MIDI controller has 18 internal settings for storing custom personal settings. You can also create backups and restore all configurations using sysex dumps.

Factory settings are designed for easy and quick integration with popular video and music applications, which in many cases eliminates the need for special script programming etc.

The UC4 allows you to significantly expand the capabilities of Ableton Live users. It provides precise control over continuous parameters such as track volume, rack macros, send levels, and track panning. You can also control switchable parameters such as clip start/stop, mute, solo, record, monitor, and track selection. The package includes a special control surface script for Ableton Live 8/9, which simplifies mapping and allows you to control up to 16 tracks at once using two UC4 devices.
