Neumann KH 150 is an active studio monitor with a 6.5-inch low-frequency driver, a 1-inch tweeter, a frequency response of 39 Hz to 21 kHz, built-in DSP, a phase inverter, and an Ethernet port.

The Neumann KH 150 is a two-way acoustic system with active amplification designed for studio monitoring, mixing, and mastering tracks. The monitor features a 6.5-inch low-frequency driver and a 1-inch tweeter that provide a clean, uncolored sound in the frequency range from 39 Hz to 21 kHz. The device operates with a maximum power of up to 145 watts on the low end and 100 watts on the tweeter. The enclosure is equipped with a phase inverter with an original waveguide design that reduces reflections from the surface on which the monitor is placed. On the rear panel of the device, there are switches for adjusting the low, mid, and high frequencies of the monitor to the room's acoustics, as well as controls for system gain and sound pressure, a signal source selector switch, and ground contour activation. The electronics are equipped with protective limiters that maintain clean sound without distortion at high volume levels. The device is suitable for professionals working with sound, including musicians, sound engineers, and sound producers of any level, providing clarity for all sound nuances.

Built-in DSP

Monitor calibration for the control room is performed using the built-in DSP processor. It allows for compensating for room acoustics deficiencies even in a home studio without expensive acoustic treatment. For quicker calibration, the manufacturer recommends using the proprietary measurement microphone MA 1 (sold separately) with special software. This enables tuning the perfect sound considering the placement of the monitors and room acoustics.

Ethernet Connectivity

The acoustic system can be connected via AES67 network audio ports, fully compatible with broadcasting standards such as ST 2110, ST 2022-7, and RAVENNA. The Neumann KH 150 monitor is compatible with the DANTE network protocol.
