For Superbooth 2025, Make Noise has unveiled a new Eurorack module – the Jumbler. This 6-channel module is designed for mixing, routing, and creatively "jumbling" CV and audio signals. The module is already available!
Jumbler is part of the larger New Universal Synthesizer System from Make Noise, but it works equally well in any modular setup. It accepts up to 6 audio or CV inputs and distributes them to 6 outputs. Using two CV-controllable parameters – Rotate and Radiate – users can dynamically alter the signal order and blending intensity.
Rotate changes the order of signals at the outputs, while Radiate blends and merges them. In practice, this allows for evolving routings, modulated mixes, smooth transitions, and rhythmic combinations of gate/clock signals.
How does Make Noise Jumbler work?
At its core, Jumbler maps six inputs to six outputs with real-time routing control. Signals can be blended (crossfaded), for example when combining waveforms from different oscillators. Six LEDs provide visual feedback on output activity, and instead of mechanical switches, the module uses 36 analog VCAs – perfect for smooth, click-free transitions.
