is SSL 's all-analogue 2U stereo outboard processor designed for the modern hybrid studio. Fusion introduces five all-new analogue 'colouring ' tools designed to create the perfect blend of more character, weight and space for a mix bus or stereo elements, with the detail, warmth and finesse that only true analogue circuits can provide.

SSL's sonic legacy is built on a collection of replicas of the analogue audio processing tools used in generations of studio consoles: impeccable microphone preamps, classic Channel EQ &amp, Dynamics, the legendary stereo compressorof the Listen Mic Co.mpressor bus and SSL's unique summing bus. Fusion brings SSL into a new era with the introduction of a range of new analogue processing tools that offer unique sonic character and versatility. Vintage DriveVintage

Drive is a unique non-linear harmonic amplifier circuit that gives consistency and strength to your mix. Drive and density controls work together to achieve harmonic saturation and smooth compression resulting from analogue circuit overload.

It

can easily be used for subtle saturation compression or hard drive for more extreme distortion.

Violet EQSSL

Violet EQ - an all-new dual-band shelving EQ with minimal phase shift. The first new analogue SSL EQ circuit in more than 25 years, it draws on SSL's heritage of carefully selected frequencies and frequency curves to create a musical and intuitive EQ designed for quick and easy low-weight and high-end gloss customisation. The

HF CompressorA

new high-frequency Compressor provides a unique high-frequency rounding sound in the analogue range. A CompressorThe new high-frequency rolloff has been optimised for smooth and transparent roughness reduction, and a high-frequency rolloff that resembles a band - ideal for taming brittle 'high-frequency fizz'.

Stereo Image Enhancer provides a true analogue centre circuit that manipulates the sideband signal and allows for expansion and spatial manipulation of the stereo field.

, purpose-built transformer circuit introduces high-frequency phase shift and subtle low-frequency saturation. The result is a simultaneous densification of the low end and additional shimmer for the high end.
