Impulse 61 is our ultra-responsive and expressive keyboard with a host of fully assignable controls. It's designed for people who love to play keyboards and enjoy doing so, with seamless integration with Ableton Live, Logic Pro Tools, Pro Tools and other major music software.

Our most expressive keyboard

We have specifically designed the Impulse 61 keyboard to enable you to create truly expressive performances. The ultra-reactive, semi-weighted piano-style keys are perfectly suited to any instrument you want to play, including organs, synthesisers and pianos.

As you play, our unique HRS (High Rate Scan) technology scans the keyboard 10,000 times per second to capture all the nuances of performance.

Your even better music

Mix and sculpt your sound with endless smooth knobs, 45mm low-profile faders, tons of buttons and a custom LCD screen. All controls work seamlessly with your main music software and can be mapped to any parameter.

Do more with your drum pads

Play drums in real time with pressure-sensitive pads, drum sample loops and arpeggio design. The pads also act as multi-coloured clip launchers in Ableton Live, so you can see if a clip is loaded (yellow), playing (green) or recording (red).

Multiple connection options

Impulse is class-compliant and USB bus-powered, so you can simply plug it into your Mac or Windows computer and start working straight away, no power required.

Impulse is ready to go too, 5-pin MIDI outputs let you connect to your favourite synth or module.

Create music straight out of the box

Ableton Live Lite is included in the box and integrates seamlessly with all controls:

• Transport control
• Clip activation (using the illuminated pads).
• Control of a connected device

You also get an impressive library of free samples from Loopmasters, as well as the Bass Station software plug-in, which recreates the sound of the legendary analogue bass synth.
