Erica Synths Bassline DB-01 is a compact, monophonic analog desktop synthesizer with a powerful built-in sequencer and a distinctly aggressive sonic character. Built around a classic VCO with selectable saw, triangle, and square waveforms, the DB-01 also includes a transistor-based sub-oscillator and a noise generator. Two integrated BBD (bucket brigade) delay lines add subtle detuning and textural richness, reminiscent of vintage polysynths.

The DB-01's signal path is shaped by a distortion circuit and a switchable lowpass/bandpass filter, inspired by the iconic Polivoks design and featured in Erica Synths' own Acidbox. Further modulation is made possible through dual decay envelopes (for VCF and VCA), a versatile multi-wave LFO, and CV input with an attenuator for dynamic external control.

The onboard sequencer provides authentic TB-style programming with Accent and Slide, and supports up to 128 user patterns with lengths of up to 64 steps. Shuffle, arpeggiator, and randomization functions inject creative motion and variation into your patterns. MIDI, CV/Gate, and clock connectivity ensure seamless integration into modular or DAW-based setups.
