It offers two Audient Class-A microphone preamplifiers of impressive quality, as well as outstanding AD/DA converters with impressive depth and detail. A monitor controller with a mute/dim button and a large, professional metal potentiometer allows precise and convenient control of the monitoring volume thanks to a practical desktop enclosure, making external controllers unnecessary. The two balanced stereo outputs are suitable for direct connection of active studio monitors. With its innovative combination of microphone preamplifier, audio interface and monitor controller, the iD22 is one of the few truly professional all-in-one solutions for home and project studios . Via ADAT via, for example, the Audient ASP880, the robust interface can be expanded with a further 8 analogue inputs. Connection to a MAC or PC is convenient via USB 2.0
