been on the market for 14 years and it is hard to imagine the world of audio interfaces without it. In 2007, the first Duet interface appeared, and 2013 saw the second generation. In addition to its stunning flat and modern design

Apogee Du et 3 has other advantages.

Accordingly, this desktop interface has

a

body made of aluminium and a Gorilla Glass surface. Via a breakout cable, the Apogee Duet 3 offers four inputs and two outputs with Apogee's high-quality AD/DA conversion. There is also a zero headphone output.

Microphone

preampTwo preamps provide up to 60 dB

of

gain and 48-volt phantom power. This allows for clean, noise-free recordings at maximum preamp gain.

Hardware DSP for the ECSD

Channel StripTuned by mixing legend Bob Clearmountain, the Symphony ECS Channel Strip* features EQ, compression and saturation controls to optimise channel processing for recording vocals or acoustic instruments. Choose from numerous presets created by Clearmountain and record with zero latency thanks to Duet's internal DSP.
A native version of the Symphony ECS Channel Strip plug-in is available separately.

Apogee Control 2 software

Apogee Control software gives you full control over all Duet features and functions, including Symphony ECS Channel Strip effects running on Duet's hardware DSP.
