Each of its four stereo tracks includes a five-stage signal chain – Material, Granular, Filter, Color, and Space – enabling the creation of complex textures, cinematic soundscapes, and evolving rhythmic structures. Record and overdub directly, use the 8-voice polyphonic sampler via MIDI, or sculpt live audio through granular synthesis, morphing filters, and dual-band distortion. The powerful modulation system provides four modulators per track, allowing any parameter to be animated with LFOs, envelopes, random generators, or sequencers, including cross-modulation possibilities for intricate motion and depth.

Equipped with tactile RGB buttons, a 3.5-inch color LCD, and nine smooth encoders, the S4 offers an intuitive interface for deep sound design and live performance.
