The Strymon Deco V2 faithfully captures the warmth and dimensionality of classic 1950s and 1960s reel-to-reel tape machines. Divided into two independently switchable sections—Tape Saturation and Doubletracker—it allows you to add harmonically rich preamp saturation or authentic double-tracking textures with organic analog imperfections. The Saturation section offers two voicing modes: Classic and Cassette, while the Doubletracker section introduces Lag Time, Blend, and Wobble controls for chorus, slapback, and phase-shifting effects.
Deco V2 features stereo inputs/outputs, a high-impedance JFET input stage, and advanced connectivity including MIDI via TRS and USB, as well as support for expression pedals and external footswitches. Its compact chassis houses a switchable buffer/true bypass and is ready for professional stereo pedalboard integration.
