Strandberg parts Optimized Tension 8-String (5 Sets)

The Strandberg 8-string Set (x5) is an optimized tension set for 8-string electric guitars. Each set includes strings with gauges of 9 – 12 – 15 – 22 – 30 – 42 – 56 and 84, crafted from a special alloy combination.

Developed in collaboration with GHS Strings, this string set is designed to deliver maximum sonic power and enhance the feel of your guitar. They feature a specifically optimized tension, gradually increasing from 6.35 kg to 9.07 kg from high to low strings, with slight additional weight on the 7th and 8th strings respectively. The .084″ string in the set features a tapered ball end for use with strandberg* EGS tuners.

All strings in the set are made of nickel-plated steel, while the 8th string is constructed from a combination of two wraps of different alloys (stainless steel/nickel). This not only provides a longer lifespan but also contributes to superior tone and tuning stability.
