Solton IP 10 SUB is a passive 10" bass-reflex subwoofer in a compact 15 mm birch plywood enclosure, designed to add low-frequency support to installed loudspeaker systems in restaurants, bars, conference rooms, retail spaces and sports facilities. At 298 x 402 x 400 mm and just 12 kg, the IP 10 SUB installs on the floor, wall-mounted via the optional bracket (art. 12535), or suspended in arrays of up to four units (art. 12516).
10" long-excursion driver and passive enclosure — flexible DSP integration
The 10" long-excursion driver on a 2" (50 mm) voice coil works in a low-distortion bass-reflex enclosure extending to 40 Hz (-10 dB) at 8 Ω nominal impedance. The crossover is handled actively by an external DSP or DSP-equipped amplifier (such as the DX 43) — the passive enclosure design allows full adjustment of crossover frequency, time alignment and EQ to match specific room acoustics without any fixed crossover built into the cabinet. Two NL4 connectors (pins 1+/1-) handle signal input and daisy-chaining to additional subwoofers or zones. A DSP-controlled limiter protects the driver at extreme drive levels. Maximum SPL of 122 dB continuous / 128 dB peak at 1 m with 97 dB sensitivity (1 W/1 m) covers rooms of 50 to 80 m² without compromising system dynamics.
Versatile mounting — floor, wall, suspended arrays of up to four
The integrated side handle makes repositioning straightforward without a trolley. The optional wall bracket (art. 12535) mounts the sub vertically or horizontally on a wall surface; the suspension kit (art. 12516, recommended for a maximum of 4 units) allows overhead hanging above audiences or stages. The recommended MF/HF partners are the IP 5 CX and IP 8 column speakers — both from the same IP installation series, matched in aesthetic, footprint and mounting philosophy with the IP 10 SUB.
