Solton aart SUB 15 A is an active 15" subwoofer with a built-in Class D amplifier delivering 800 W continuous and 3200 W peak. Designed as a compact, mobile bass foundation for the full aart T LINE range — at 460 x 590 x 580 mm and 31 kg it fits any passenger car and is manageable for one person, while delivering 127 dB continuous / 133 dB peak at 1 m — enough for events of 200 to 500 people.
15" driver with 4" voice coil and onboard crossover
The 15" long-excursion driver on a 4" (100 mm) voice coil operates in a 15 mm birch plywood bass-reflex enclosure with a low-distortion port — a design that limits dynamic compression at peak SPL and keeps transient attack tight and defined in the bass register. The variable low-pass crossover from 80 to 200 Hz with a phase switch handles integration with any satellite without outboard processing. Two XLR/6.35 Jack Combo inputs and two XLR Thru outputs support stereo feed and daisy-chaining to additional subwoofers or zones. The M20 pole socket on top takes any aart T LINE satellite directly — a complete, self-powered PA stack assembled in seconds. Two integrated handles and pre-drilled mounting points for the optional 75 mm wheel set (art. 12520, 2 with brake, 2 without) keep transport practical. Compact footprint, full-size output
Compared to the 18" aart SUB 18 A, the SUB 15 A is 12 kg lighter and 140 x 70 x 60 mm smaller in footprint — a meaningful difference in logistics when running a stereo sub setup with one or two people. At 800 W continuous with a 35 Hz bass extension (-10 dB), the SUB 15 A competes acoustically with larger and more expensive cabinets in the same power class, making it a particularly strong choice for rental operations and working musicians who prioritise maximum output-per-kilo over absolute low-end extension.
