Shadow Hills Dual Vandergraph is an audio compressor that is a direct descendant of the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor and maintains its reputation for unquestionable quality and exceptional performance in the 500 series format. The Dual Vandergraph is designed on the basis of discrete gain cells, which are combined with an incredibly flexible Optograph Sidechain Filter matrix. This combination provides vast possibilities for new recording methods and dynamic control.

Dual Vandergraph Features

• The fully discrete audio path of this stereo compressor is Class A and equipped with specialized Shadow Hills iron transformers.
• Controls: Ratio, Filter, Compression, and Output Level.
• The Compression and Output Level knobs are made from Swiss-made 24-position attenuators. Ratio switches between 1.2:1, 2.5:1, 4:1, and 8:1.
• In addition to changing the ratios, each selection alters the predefined attack and release time.
• The Sidechain Filter Matrix controls the frequency sensitivity of the sidechain - 90 Hz, 150 Hz, 250 Hz, and Bandpass.
