Take 5 is Sequential’s most compact and affordable VCO/VCF-based polyphonic analog synthesizer. It’s ideal for classic subtractive synthesis, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned sound designer. Its portable form factor makes it perfect for stage and studio use, without sacrificing essential features. This is rich analog tone in a streamlined package.

With 44 full-size keys, Take 5 fits comfortably in any setup. The front panel gives immediate access to all key sound-shaping controls, and the clever key split function lets you divide the 3.5-octave keyboard into two performance zones, expanding your playable range beyond most compact synths.

Each of Take 5’s five voices features two analog VCOs and an auxiliary oscillator routed through a classic 4-pole low-pass filter from the Prophet-5 Rev 4. The result is that unmistakable Sequential character — punchy, smooth, warm, and articulate. A dedicated Vintage knob introduces voice-to-voice variations for authentic analog flavor. Additional features include dual digital effects, front-panel analog FM, a continuously variable waveshape control, and onboard overdrive.

The synth also includes two LFOs (one global, one per voice), two 5-stage ADSR envelopes with delay, extensive modulation routing, a 64-step polyphonic sequencer, and a multi-mode arpeggiator. Its premium semi-weighted Fatar keyboard ensures a responsive playing experience wherever you go.
