Sequential Prophet REV2 – a 16-voice analog synthesizer with dual DCOs per voice, bi-timbral layering and splitting, Curtis low-pass filter, dual effects engine, extended modulation matrix, and a polyphonic step sequencer for creative sound design and performance.

The Prophet REV2 is the successor to the acclaimed Prophet '08, now with twice the polyphony and a host of modern enhancements. Each of the 16 analog voices features two DCOs, a sub oscillator, white noise generator, and the renowned Curtis low-pass filter with selectable 12dB or 24dB slope. Pulse-width modulation is now available on all waveforms, providing a broader sonic palette. A crisp 3-envelope system — including a looping third envelope — and four LFOs offer deep modulation capabilities. The modulation matrix has been expanded to include 8 slots with numerous sources and destinations, making it a true playground for sound designers.

The bi-timbral architecture allows for two independent layers per program, which can be stacked or split across the keyboard. Each layer can have its own effects: reverb, delays (standard and BBD), chorus, phase shifter, ring modulation, and distortion. A polyphonic step sequencer with up to 64 steps and 6 notes per step — per layer — allows for intricate pattern creation. The arpeggiator features note repeats, latch functions, and external MIDI sync for seamless integration.
